Our Story

Still the same small shop on top of the hill.

Helen has been cutting hair on Queen Anne Ave N since 1995, over 30 years in the same corner storefront, right next to Trader Joe's. No big chain, no long menu of add-ons: just two chairs and a stylist the neighborhood trusts with their whole family's hair.

Customers keep coming back for the same reason: Helen remembers names even when visits are months apart, works fast without rushing, and has a real gift for putting nervous kids at ease in the chair.
